Membership in the AAGL provides an opportunity for development and advancement in the practice of minimally invasive gynecology. The AAGL is recognized as an AMA specialty and Service Society, and advocates for its members to other medical institutions and organizations.

Membership Types
In recognition of the diverse needs of gynecologists, the Board of Trustees of the AAGL have approved the following types of AAGL membership. Please read through and decide which best fits your individual practice.

Practicing Physicians: Includes physicians practicing in the United States and else where in the world.

Residents and Fellows: Physicians-in-training receive full membership benefits for a reduced rate in recognition of their training status. In support of tomorrow's gynecologists, the AAGL also offers free membership for electronic-only access to AAGL information resources, including the Journal and the quarterly newsletter.

Affiliated Society: Practicing physicians and residents or fellows who are members of an international society formally affiliated with the AAGL receive full membership benefits for a reduced rate in recognition that they also support their local society with dues.  The AAGL partners with other societies to promote worldwide dialogue about the practice of minimally invasive gynecology.

Allied Healthcare Professionals: In recognition of the integral role which nurses and operating room personnel play in the delivery of quality gynecologic care to women, special membership rates are available for them.  Our industry partners are invited to join as corporate members of the AAGL to receive timely information, however, they are not eligible to vote on the business issues of the association.
