The Foundation of AAGL provides several programs for you to personalize your contribution to the future of minimally invasive gynecology.  Please read through the information below to learn how best to direct your giving. The easiest way to donate is to complete the on-line form below.

Foundation
A donation to the Foundation funds the development and application of emerging technologies to the benefit of gynecologic health care for women. With these funds, the Foundation supports continued progress in the field of minimally invasive gynecology by providng scholoarships, teaching grants, and financial support to worthy research and by creating periodic awards for scientific accomplishments.

Resident's Circle
Started in 1991 by the 18th President of the AAGL, Dr. Brian M. Cohen, the Resident’s Circle supports the Annual Workshop for Residents and Fellows. The Workshop provides the unique opportunity to test advanced skills in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures that are not often available to professionals of the field. Faculty for the workshop consists of AAGL board members, advisors and fellowship directors.
 
Jay M. Cooper Endowment
This endowment provides an annual award to a fellow for the best paper on minimally invasive gynecology, an opportunity exclusive to participants of the Fellowship in Gynecologic Endoscopy in affiliation with the AAGL and SRS. The award consists of a $1,000 cash prize, along with an invitation to present the winning paper at both the AAGL and ASRM annual meetings (including travel and accommodations).
 
Named for the 26th President of the AAGL, Dr. Jay M. Cooper, this award honors a renowned leader in hysteroscopic surgery who brought innovation and vision to the field. A long-time member and active supporter of the organization, the endowment was established in his honor to support the new generation of minimally invasive gynecologic surgeons. 
 
Robert B. Hunt Endowment
Established in 2002, the Robert B. Hunt endowment annually recognizes the best scientific paper published in the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology. The award is presented every year during the AAGL Global Congress.
 
This endowment honors the 17th President of the AAGL, Dr. Robert B. Hunt. Dr. Hunt was also President of the Foundation from its inception in 1992 until 2002. Dr. Hunt’s legacy to the organization is the Journal of the AAGL, which would later become the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology. Established in 1993 through his founding editorship, he served as Editor-in-Chief until his retirement in 2002.
 
Endowment for Jordan M. Phillips Keynote Address
This endowment provides funding for the speaker of the Jordan M. Phillips Keynote Address, named after AAGL founder and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Jordan M. Phillips. The Jordan M. Phillips Keynote Address is given every year as part of the opening session of the AAGL Global Congress, with topics pertaining to women’s health issues around the globe.
